Jesus does not play by a standard-issue rule book. He heals the centurion’s servant when asked, raises from the dead the widow’s son without being asked, gives John the Baptist only an indirect answer, and forgives the sins of a woman deemed by the "good," and religious, unworthy.
*This podcast was formerly named Notes on Luke. It is not known if the widow had any daughters only that she had just one son. Jesus indicates his Messiahship in Luke 4. 1hr26min | 01-07-18
