Cohosts and I talk in a series of conversations about subjects important to us. Our intention is not to present finished, perfect products; it is, instead, to give the listener, you, if you would like, the space, and opportunity, to consider new ideas. Expansive ones. The hope: that these series will help us all live fuller, better, lives.

a considered life acl
a septuagenarian talks about his life:
Jay, now in his seventies, has lived, and continues to live, an unusual life. It is also one which I consider a success. In this interview series, Jake asks Jay about his thought process, decisions, and results.
The series are all alike in that they present specific beliefs and belief systems; they are dissimilar in the beliefs and belief systems they present. All aim for, and intend to develop, life.
Just to be clear: I believe in a whole lot of things. They include science, history, self-reliance, mutual responsibility, and the possibilities of humankind; the importance of religions and other explicit belief systems, and the right to, and possible good of, not believing in any specific creed or explicit belief system at all. I present what I believe, as do the others in the various podcast series, including some of the details, because I/ we have found these beliefs, these ways of thinking, to be useful and good.
You are not expected or required to agree. I ask you to investigate. My hope is that, by listening and reading, you will consider what it is that you do believe. And that you will actively choose beliefs that you yourself find useful and good for you, for others, for the world as a whole.
