An introduction to both men. Spoiler: one is more famous than the other. Marc and I talk about the Gutenberg Bible, justification by faith, Greek mystery cults, King David dancing naked (?), and other stuff.
*I likely overstated the role of technology in the Protestant Reformation. Gutenberg Bible printed AD 1454-5, sixty-two years before Luther posted 95 Theses (1517); literacy not widespread for 300 more years. The latest books in the Bible written circa AD 95. David wrote 73-75 of the 150 psalms, so about half of them, not most. The Psalms written from 1410-450 BC. David did not dance naked before the Ark but did wear little. He wore only a priestly undergarment, so little that one of his wives rebuked him. 1hr9min | 12-20-17
